Sample weekend trip from the city:
Drive north along Hwy 10 and turn off at Olde Base Line to visit a couple of open artist’s studios in and around Inglewood and Erin (see the Google map below for details). Afterwards, zip up to Orangeville and enjoy lunch at either Greystones or The White Truffle. Take a stroll down Broadway, Orangeville’s main boulevard to see more art events (see map).
A five minute drive south of Orangeville brings you to the Headwaters Arts Festival Show and Sale – the jewel of the Festival. Now in its fifteenth year, the exhibition showcases the work of over 45 artists.
After, just five minutes further down the road, you can drop your bags and put up your feet at the Millcroft Inn and Spa. Here you can either indulge in the Millcroft’s wonderful spa or you can take a short pre-dinner walk to the Alton Mill Arts Centre to view this historic landmark and the galleries and studios there.
